The Reason that Most People Do Not Follow Their Dreams
Fear is the number one reason that people continue working in their J.O.B. and refuse to step out of the box.Your comfort zone only allows you to make the amount of money you are comfortable with. Now you may say I’d be comfortable with 100,000 a year. The truth is if you have always made $35,000 a year, your sub-conscious is going to try to stop you from stepping outside that comfort zone.
You’ve heard the saying thinking out of the box, right?
Well imagine the box contains 80% of the people in the world.
These people go to a job every day, sometimes two jobs. They make enough money to pay the bills, but never have any extra money. They hope they don’t get laid off. They worry about how they will survive if they lose their job. They worry about the economy, the rising oil prices, and costs of electricity, food and other necessities. These people are the majority – and most of them are miserable!
Outside of the box is the 5% who dared to follow their dream. They had a clear vision of what they wanted in life and they worked hard to achieve their goals.
So what happened to the other 15%? These people are desperately trying to scale the sides of the box.
Scaling a box is not an easy task! Especially when the people in the box are grabbing at you to drag you back into the box. Fear of what is outside of the box keeps average people from accomplishing their dreams. Whether it is fear of success or fear of failure or fear of change it makes no difference. Fear chains 95% of people to a life of mediocrity. But fear is false!

Warren Buffett said, “Be fearful when others are greedy and greedy when others are fearful.” During this economic downturn we must break free of fear to become prosperous. Many people became rich during the great depression because they took initiative when others were fearful.
