Heather Plude is the founder of Making Money Out of the Box, and Mike is the support behind the scenes.

You won't find Mike building websites, blogging or marketing online, because he still works full time for General Electric.

Mike is an important part of the Making Money Out of the Box team because he believes in me and encourages me to be a better person. Mike is the rock that my business was built on.

When I decided to give up my job as an office manager at an automotive dealership, Mike encouraged me to do what I believed in. He supported my decision when many friends and family members were suggesting that I stay
with the steady paycheck because we are in the middle of a recession.

I didn't see a recession, I saw opportunity. I couldn't stay in a job I hated and hope the economy would improve and things would turn around in the auto industry...

I decided to rely on my own talents and abilities to
make money from home and it was definitely the right decision!

I officially quit my job in March of 2009. The plan has always been to retire Mike from his job by March of 2010. We haven't quite reached that goal yet, but then again... it's not March yet.

Mike is developing his own personal development plan. Because leaving his job and traveling the world is part of the bigger plan. You see, we can help more people if we go mobile for a while...

We plan to get an RV that will comfortably fit two adults and two children.
While we travel, we will help people replace their incomes with their own
profitable home businesses.

Our Family

2 Pludes - 2 Grants - 2 Flynns

Mike and I got married December 22, 2007, he embraced me and my family, and vice versa.

As with many families today...
it's complicated. The older girls are Grants, the younger children are Flynns and we are Pludes.

We love each other,
and that's what matters.

Family is very important to me. Having time for my family is a driving force in my business.

Why Making Money Out of the Box

The "Box" in Making Money Out of the Box represents two things:

A job boxes you in with its limitations
Thinking out of the box

We are making out of the box so we can get out of the box! And that is what we are teaching others to do. That's what we can teach you to do...

I am a home business mentor and I have many mentors in my life. I believe in mentors to help and guide me, my business and my team. But my mentor will not build my business for me. My success is up to me and no one else.
