Honestly, if had never started reading inspirational books, I wouldn’t be where I am today. I started out reading self improvement books which led to reading books about making money.
I balance my reading between books that help me with self motivation concerning the fulfillment of my personal and business goals while keeping my morals in tact through reading the Bible and books like The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen R. Covey. Combining this mix of inspirational books & self-development has brought me a magnificent life which improves daily.
My Favorite Inspirational Books
Like I’ve said before, I have a personal library full of books, tapes, CDs and DVDs that I have read, listened to or watched. Each of them added something to my life, but here are some of my favorites.I think that before anyone starts on the path of self improvement or building their income using out of the box methods, it is imperative that they learn to set goals and to work to achieve them.
- Zig Ziglar’s Goals set me on the path of setting personal and business goals as well as achieving them.
- The Passion Test by Janet and Chris Attwood really made difference in my line of thinking
- Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill started me thinking that I could drastically improve my financial circumstances which was enhanced by The Science of Getting Rich By Wallace Wattles
- What God Wants by Neale Donald Walsh was an enlightening and dangerous book.
The desire for making more money usually comes from personal or family needs. It is easy to get engulfed in the process of making money and to forget what you are doing for which makes it necessary to obtain a balance.
