What are Freelance Jobs?
There are two sides to the freelance society, those that do the work and those who hire the workers.
Both are equally important.
Freelance jobs are basically projects that are completed by a freelance provider for a buyer for a fee. The relationship between the two parties usually cannot be construed as an employer/employee relationship because a freelance provider generally works in their own location and set their own hours so they are deemed self-employed.
This is good for the buyer because they can agree to pay a set rate for the job or to pay the provider by the hour without worrying about the fees and bookkeeping requirements that are associated with hiring personnel. Freelancing also makes for great

for providers that want to work from home.
Offering freelance jobs to freelance providers is a
time management
function that has been very good for me. I can actually have someone with a special talent complete projects that I am not so good at or tasks that are time consuming, which gives me more time to concentrate on the things that I do best – working with prospects to build my business.
The key is to find people who play at things you work at.
Why Outsourcing is Vital to Achieving Financial Freedom…
Running a business is a job in itself. There are not enough hours in the day for you to do everything that needs to be done yourself. If you refuse to outsource, you are likely to fail. If not, success will not come as soon as it would if you chose to let go and you will definitely burn out if you try to do everything yourself.
Peter Drucker, known as the father of management, emphasized the importance of delegation in his book,
Managing for Results. His philosophy for delegating is pretty simple.
Drucker suggests that you choose the person to delegate to wisely, based on their skills and the requirements of the task; that you give them precise instructions; explain how the task will contribute to goals; clarify expected results; develop standards of performance; and be supportive throughout the project discussing problems, answering questions and seeking the providers ideas about doing the task.
If the task needs to be done a certain way, Drucker suggests that you show them how to do it and explain why it has to be done that way. Finally, he suggests praising positive achievements. He warns against micromanaging when suggesting that you
do not try to over-control the performance of the task. That is something that I found hard in the beginning, but I have learned to let go and honestly, it is refreshing. The creativity of freelancers when they are given freedom to create is amazing.
Where to Find Providers to Do Freelance Jobs
There are several freelance job boards which make it possible to find freelance providers or virtual assistants to do the tasks at hand. The ones that I have used include:
- Jobvana
http://www.jobvana.com
- Elance
http://www.elance.com/
- oDesk
http://www.odesk.com
I have also hired a virtual assistant from
Website Content Providers http://www.website-content-providers.com.
Using these resources, you can outsource tasks that require administrative support, website and programming tasks, design of multimedia, writing, sales and marketing, finance tasks such as bookkeeping, legal tasks, and even engineering and manufacturing tasks.
When you outsource freelance jobs, you effectively buy more time to concentrate on your strategy and building the business. You will be managing your time efficiently by taking care of the things that really matter yourself.
